Sleep happened. It was the hardest, most beautiful sleep I have ever experienced. My only complaint is that it had to end with a loud, annoying alarm. I didn’t throw the alarm clock and break it though, I was too rested and peaceful to be cranky.
Before the ambien took me to another world, I got my daily phone call from ZH. It looks like he most likely will not be able to come to Vegas with us. I am a little upset about it but, really, I have spent the last 7 years not seeing him, what’s another few months? He says that even if he can’t get the time off, he is going to try and drive down for the weekend, which honestly, is pretty stupid if you ask me. It is a sixteen hour drive there which would leave him just about enough time to say hi and then drive back. I don’t want him to waste the time. He says that he just can’t imagine my being so close and not getting to see me. I can’t imagine driving thirty two hours just to see me for, at the most, one night.
Of course, when I tell him how ridiculous that seems, he won’t listen. “Believe me, it isn’t.” (Delusional) I can’t say that it doesn’t make me feel good knowing he would do it, but I just don’t want to get my hopes up and then be let down if and when he can’t.
I was really looking forward to my mom’s expression when we told her that Elvis married us in an all-night chapel (It would be a joke, don’t worry). Damn. Nothing ever works out the way I want it to.

Ahem.
Unless the night was a GOOD night, IF you get my meaning.
Wink wink.
Nudge nudge.
Oh, and you COULD either just tell your mom he DID make it and you two got hitched OR you just tell her you married one of the women.
Well, see, Moms will be there too...so it wouldn't really work out that way...
Not the WHOLE time, right? Now, I don't know type of relationship you have with your moms but somehow I just doubt you will be hanging with her during the REALLY fun bits.
SO you go off, come back later all happy... oh, and smear both of your lipstick.
:)
Or were you talking about not being able to have a GOOD night?
Lol...no...I was talking about the Elvis marrying us thing...heh heh
Ah, so you WOULD make his one night there worth it. You should tell him that.
he knows....
Well, aint THAT a slap in your face!
Hmmm...Not really...
You don't think so? Interesting. Hey, buy him a plane ticket!! :) I got fifty bucks I can donate towards that.
No way, dude...it isn't like THAT...
Uh huh. Rrrrright. Gotcha. I make no judgments. :)
And what's with the "dude"?
I DON'T KNOW! IT IS LIKE A DISEASE!
Uh huh. You're INFECTED!! You're a dirty dirty thing! ewwwwww.
But it's cool. I used to call everyone "boy". Not sure why. I deliberately started calling women "darlin" just for fun.
