Spliff and I met some guys from Boston once. One of them made reference to a car and actually said, “It’s in the cah. C-A-H.”
Now…what I was actually trying to say is that Lucy (AKA “The CAH”) is fine. She is leaking a little bit of oil but evidently, seeing as right after Willie topped off the oil on Saturday I drove to Orlando and back and the level is perfect, it is not a huge deal and doesn’t have to be fixed like…yesterday. Which means that I won’t be having that coronary after all. No coronary = happy Criz.
In other news, in about two hours, I plan to be enjoying a beer out in the sun with the Spliffster and JGJ. And good god…this is going to be the longest two hours of my life. Just as it is most days when I am locked in the office, the weather outside is beautiful. Sunny, breezy, and just hot enough that you don’t feel like someone threw a hot, wet blanket on your head when you walk out. The fact that I am still in here is enough to drive me to drink. Oh wait. I do that anyway. Eh…whatever.
Work has been pretty quiet, just as I had hoped it would be. Although, it could have a lot to do with the fact that I haven’t had much contact at all with the doctors I work for. One of them is doing rounds (it’s SO nice when he is on call, because I don’t have to decode his cryptic messages all day) and the other one started the day like this:
“Good MORNING, Crystal! It is SO nice when you forget your pager at home! NOBODY needs you!”
Fabulous.
At any rate, I have basically spent the day reading blogs. And I have to say, I don’t know what I would do if Shirley didn’t update so much! (Shirley, you are my HERO.) I was starting to think that she wasn’t going to and then BAM! Something to read!

Hee, hee - thanks! I like to combine the drinking & the blogging - keeps me honest. Also keeps me from beating J up. I mean... I'm not abusive. (whistles)
