As excited as I am that tomorrow is my last day of work for over a week and that I get to get on a plane and fly away from here in less than 36 hours, I still can’t get my ass motivated to pack. Partially, I suppose, because I have no idea what to expect with the weather in Seattle and partially because damn it if this week isn’t feeling like it will never end. Part of me feels like I will just be perpetually waiting to start my vacation and part of me feels like I am out of time before I am whisked far, far away. I’m stuck. And I am sitting here typing with a suitcase behind me, half full with clothes that, I am guessing, will be hardly conducive to the weather I will be experiencing. But shit, I am a Florida girl. What the hell is a season?
I just pray that it doesn’t snow. I am in no mood to deal with snow.
I am, however, quite in the mood for a break from work. And family. And obligation. Get me out of here.
The point is, it has been a long, busy and very productive week and I am most likely out of here for the next one. I will be light years away from the blogosphere. Peace out!

Being a native Seattle gal, webbed feet and all, I can tell ya the weather! Rain. It will rain from now until umm, oh, say Julyish? And then it will only start to become mostly sunny at the end of July - because inevitibly it will RAIN on freaking 4th of July! (ranting and raving, please forgive me. LOL). But seriously it is supposed to rain most of next week, highs in the mid 40's. So pack a parka, and some sweaters. You'll be good to go. But remember, you can always find a Starbucks every 47 feet to warm your hands. ;o)
Have a great trip, we have an awesome city - hopefully you'll have a great time! (Go to Pike Place, catch a fish, it's fun!).
